Chardonnay around the World

in-person90min

Description

Love it or hate it, Chardonnay is one of the most popular wine grapes. It's often associated with big, buttery wines from California - but it can be made in a multitude of styles, from lean and crisp to rich and creamy. In this tasting, we'll explore expressions of Chardonnay from around the world - from its birthplace in Burgundy, France, to California, and beyond. If you think you hate Chardonnay, please allow me to (try to) change your mind.

My wine travels have brought me to Bordeaux, Champagne, Porto, the Douro Valley, Temecula, and Long Island, and I've worked wine events, tastings, and retail.
