Oscar Wild once said, "Only the unimaginative can fail to find a reason for drinking Champagne" - and hopefully after this experience, you'll always have a reason to reach for a bottle (or two!) of Champagne. We'll start at the very beginning and tell the tale of Champagne - the region, the people, the history, the grapes, and the wines. We'll taste through a few different styles of Champagne, including rosé, blanc de blancs, and blanc de noirs. We'll come to appreciate why Champagne is so lauded, legendary, and luxurious, and why it's the favorite wine of so many sommeliers (including me!).
