Pamela Vachon
Bartender, Certified Sommelier, Food & Beverage Writer, Voice Actor

Pamela got a late start in hospitality after attending culinary school as a means of moving out from behind a desk and into a more active work environment, only to find she preferred guest-facing roles over stove-facing roles in restaurants. Most recently she was a Bartender at Manhattan's 2-Michelin Star restaurant The Modern, during which time she also won the inaugural Jane Walker Classic Female Bartending Competition. She is also a Certified Sommelier who loves to drink and talk about wines from lesser known wine regions of the world - she can tell you both how to pronounce and why you should love wines like Gemischter Satz. Pamela also writes extensively about all things edible and potable for sites such as CNET, Chowhound, Alcohol Professor, and Cheese Professor. When not speaking about, writing about, or pouring wine and cocktails, Pamela can be found in her blanket fort bedroom studio doing voiceover work.
